Sponsor the challenge
The challenge will involve costs solely associated with; the special preparation of the yacht, additional temporary communications, navigation & safety equipment, berthing, support team travel and the £1,200 entry and monitoring fee charged by the world speed sailing governing body the WSSRC.
The yacht being used for the challenge is a private boat and is being made available at no cost to the project.
Sponsors are sought to meet the project costs so as to allow all donations raised by the challenge to go directly towards the two charities: Ocean Youth Trust Scotland and Parkinson's Disease Society.
Sponsorship in kind for the supply of equipment and services is also welcome.
